Cookies and browser storage
CanForce1 uses limited storage needed for security, sign-in, preferences, and worker-request tracking. It is not designed around advertising cookies.
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Summary
No optional advertising or cross-site behavioural cookies are intentionally set by CanForce1. Because the current storage is used for requested functionality and security, the site does not present a misleading “accept all” banner.
What is used
| Technology | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Secure session cookie | Keep an authorized agency user signed in and protect workspace access. | Until expiry or sign-out. |
| Authentication transaction cookie | Protect the temporary sign-in exchange and prevent request substitution. | Short-lived; removed after sign-in. |
| Local worker referral tracking | Keep privacy-minimized tracking tokens on the worker's own device so request statuses can be checked. | Until the browser's site storage is cleared. |
| Workspace preferences | Remember the last workspace section and intentional interface state on that device. | Until site storage is cleared. |
| Operational request logs | Secure, diagnose, and operate the service. These are server records rather than browser cookies. | According to the applicable operational retention policy. |
Hosting or performance protection providers may receive standard request metadata such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and requested paths. Limited privacy-oriented analytics may be enabled for service reliability.
What is not used
- No advertising profiles or sale of browsing behaviour.
- No cross-site tracking by CanForce1 for behavioural marketing.
- No precise-location cookie or continuous location collection.
- No storage of passwords, social insurance numbers, banking information, or government-ID images in browser preferences.
Your controls
Browser settings can delete or block cookies and local storage. Blocking required session or authentication storage can prevent sign-in. Clearing referral tracking removes the ability of that browser to check the request with its saved token; it does not delete the referral held by the selected agency.
See the privacy policy for access, correction, withdrawal, and deletion options.
