Accessibility statement

CanForce1 is intended to work for recruiters, workers, client contacts, and administrators with a wide range of abilities, devices, and assistive technologies.

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Our commitment

Roalla targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA for CanForce1's public and application experiences. Where Ontario accessibility requirements apply, the service is also designed with the AODA Information and Communications Standards in mind. This statement describes a continuing accessibility program, not a claim that every page or third-party component is free of barriers.

Information and communication can be provided in an accessible format or with communication support on request, in consultation with the person making the request.

Accessibility features

  • Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, tables, and status messages.
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and actions with visible focus.
  • Skip links and deterministic focus after navigation or dynamic updates.
  • Responsive reflow for narrow screens and high zoom.
  • Colour contrast controls, reduced-motion support, and forced-colour styles.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and text equivalents for operational charts.
  • Errors identified in text with instructions for correction.
  • Mobile experiences that keep core actions large, focused, and independent from heavy reporting components.

Testing and maintenance

Accessibility is checked through automated structural tests, keyboard review, responsive browser testing, colour and bundle gates, and manual assistive-technology review. New public entry points and high-impact workflow changes are expected to pass the same checks before release.

Known limitations

Complex virtualized data grids and charts can behave differently across screen readers and browsers. Equivalent summaries, exports, or detail views are provided where possible, and these components remain part of ongoing keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, and forced-colour testing.

Third-party authentication and connected staffing systems are controlled by their providers and may have separate accessibility limitations. If a barrier prevents access, request an alternate path.

Feedback and alternate formats

Report an accessibility barrier or request an alternate format through Roalla. Include the page, task, assistive technology or browser if comfortable, and the format or support that would help. Do not include passwords, government identifiers, banking information, or confidential worker records.

We will acknowledge the request, work with the person to understand the barrier, and provide a reasonable accessible response as promptly as practical.
